About Montréal
Montréal is the largest city in Québec and the second largest in Canada, with a metropolitan population of about 3 million people. Montréal is one of two large islands in this part of the St. Lawrence River and its highest point, Mount Royal, over looks downtown Montréal and the St.-Lawrence river. Montréal's climate varies a lot over the year. May through October are arguably the most pleasant months for outdoor activities, unless you prefer winter sports!Average temperatures vary from 10-25°F (-13° to -5°C) in January to 65-80°F (18° to 27°C) in July.
